Listerudbakken

Wrote this the winter of 1934. Received the details from Mother and our little bible.

Ole Halstenson (Bratrud) Listerudbakken was born January 6 1813 and died September 2 1905. He bought the place Listerudbakken from a man named Hans-son. Ole married Guri Haraldsdatter Veglingsrud; she was born July 15 1822 and died December 20 1897. They had six children.
  1. Halsten Listerudbakken was born May 30 1846 and died August 17 1848.

  2. Beret Listerudbakken was born February 19 1848 and died April 21 1857.

  3. Halsten Listerudbakken was born August 31 1851 and died in January 1925. Halsten married Karen Trondrud June 12 1884. They lived on the home place. They had four children.

    The mother Karen died December 5 1893. Halsten remarried and his second wife was Karen's sister Marie Trondrud. They had five children.

    The mother Marie died November 11 1910.

  5. Beret Listerudbakken was born September 22 1857 and died February 1 1926. On June 10 1888 she married Arne (middle) Bratrud. He was born in 1855 and died January 12 1912. Arne and his brother divided the farm middle Bratrud and Arne built on his part of the farm a new set of buildings. They had two sons.

  6. Anne Listerudbakken was born January 1 1860 and died June 1 1930. She was married to Ole Anmarkrud April 2 1892. He was born in 1847 and died May 27 1930 (Husband and wife died only 3 days apart, but were buried the same day). After their marriage, they bought the place Skolmen in Dokka Nordre Land. They had four children.
